Gateway Learning Academy is a holistic education center that caters to children from daycare to high school level with a crop of highly skilled teachers who have amassed years of experience in the field of educatio and childcare. Gateway Learning Academy International is an international school founded in 2017. We are Cambridge Approved International School Center. We are located at Brusubi Phase 1, Off Gamjuice Junction, Brusubi Estate. The Gambia.
We have successfully enrolled over 300 students. Our classes start from Day Care, Nursery, Primary and High School. Our students take both local and international exams. Students in Year 3, 6, 8 and 9 take NAT and Cambridge Checkpoint exams. We offer Science, Commerce & Arts courses to our students in Form 4 & 5 who sit for the Cambridge IGCSE exam.
During the school week and term, our students participate in extracurricular activities. We also give our students the opportunity to experience Excussion, Art Day, Color Day, Interhouse Sports etc.
Our school has two heads (in the primary and high school) who work tirelessly to ensure our staff and students are learning and developing in a condusive environment.

On behalf of everyone, it is our pleasure to Gateway Learning Academy International.
The School has gone a long way and now in its 8th year. 2025 was our biggest intake. We have reached over 300 pupils. And we aim to reach bigger milestone next academic year through the introduction of Fom 5.
Our aspiration is to continue to contribute in the National Development of our belove Country through the provision of high quality education. The primary goals of GLA is to safeguard and create a conducive learning environment where pupils can develop a strong foundation of the core skills required to progress onto higher education. All of this cannot be achieved without staff. We are indebted by their endless effort an steadfastness. Please accept our token of appreciation!

Step 2. Click on APPLY ONLINE, you will be redirected to an online application form
Step 3. Fill the form with accurate information
Step 4. You will be informed or called to schedule assessment date for your child
Step 5. On the day of assessment
Please bring along a copy of your child's identification (Birth Certificate or Passport) and any previous academic report of transcripts with D500 (assessment fee for Nursery to Form 5 ONLY)
Step 6. After the assessment, the school will contact you if your child has an offer or place
Step 7. You will be invited to the school to complete the enrollment form and sign the school policy
Step 8. Parent makes tuition payment at the bank. Please see Fee Structure for details
Step 9. Parent purphase uniform and badge. Please see below for details
Step 10. Child is now admitted and enrolled

The Curriculum of the school is supervised under The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and Cambridge International.
We provide extra curricular activities in different clubs such as Color Day, Art Day, Future Leaders, Write-up club, Excussion etc.
The Examination Board of the school is NAT and Cambridge Checkpoint & IGCSE.
